The cabinet is solid and in very very good shape. It looks like there are a few minor flaws, but only visible from the inside of the cabinet. No problems seen from the outside, and the minor flaws from the inside are no big deal. The sideart is actually NOS brand new on both sides. The coin door is excellent and has new locks, coin mechs, and the original coin box.
You could not find a nicer Cobra Command dedicated game. The Control panel overlay is in great condition, but does have minor cracking along the top bend. Cobra Command was mostly a kit game.

The game can be played with 1 or 2 players. Terrorists are threatening the free world and has amassed a diabolocal force. Only the brave pilots of Cobra Command can vanquish the terrorist threat and save the free world from total destruction. The player assumes the role as pilot of Cobra helicopter. The voice of the pilot's CO helps the player out with completing each mission by firing at enemy forces and dodging both enemy fire and natural surroundings.
If the pilot makes a mistake, the amine sequence shows the Cobra helicopter blown up and the player loses a life. The Sega CD version of this classic coinop laserdisc game scores some big points for presentation, but the execution is a little thin. You guide a cursor over attacking targets that are presented via the CD's full-motion video. The animated adventure lacks vibrant colors, but it is the best show piece the unit has so far. Based on the old laser disc arcade game of the same name, Sega has obtained the rights to do a Sega CD version and this game is quite good.
While not all of the animation is present and the game increments rather coarsly, once the player gets use to the way it controls, the game isn't too bad. Why are all the new Sega CD games focusing on cinema effects?
This game is a decent arcade translation and offers most of the thrills of it's high-tech cousin. The game really gives you no control over your copter, and you end up moving a cursor and shooting while watching a cool extralong cinema display. This is the most impressive CD title featuring cinema interaction so far, but it needs more payer control! What good is cool graphics without the ability to explore your playing field and make some choices?
This title reminds me of Sewer Shark but is executed little better. It's a great first generation game for the Sega CD! Flight simulation takes on a whole new look with Sega's CD helicopter gunship action game, Cobra Command!
